2016 Team Circuit Information The Nixon’s Marine Northwest Bass Team Circuit is dedicated to providing you with the  best tournament format and payout in the Northwest.  Our goal is to provide a quality  challenging tournament circuit.  For 2016 we are pleased to announce that Ranger Boats is joining Triton Boats and Nixon’s Marine in sponsoring Northwest Bass.  This year the Championship winners will have a choice of a Triton TX18 or a Ranger RT188.  Our thanks to Mercury Marine for once again sponsoring the Mercury 115hp outboard motor.  Also new this year is a two day event at Potholes Reservoir.  The entry fee is the same as for the one day events.  Watch for website changes in the upcoming weeks including responsive formatting to make viewing Northwest Bass pages on your phone or tablet easier. Teams will fish or buy-in to all four to qualify  for the Championship in September.    Format There will be four qualifying tournaments leading up to the 2016 Team Circuit  Championship.  To qualify to fish in the 2016 Team Circuit Championship, a team will need to  fish all four of the qualifying tournaments.  Points do not determine qualification for  the Championship. Buy-ins will count toward qualifier tournament payout.  Off-limits periods:  Tournament waters are off-limits Monday prior to the tournament until  the start of the tournament on Saturday.  Championship waters are off limits Monday through  Thursday the week prior to the tournament and after 5:00 pm on the Friday before the  tournament.  Registration prior to the event is highly encouraged and must be received by the Thursday  prior to the tournament if mailed.  Registration and Release of Liabilty forms should be mailed to  Northwest Bass, 2919 E Isaacs Ave, Walla Walla, WA  99362.  You may also register on-line via  PayPal.  See the Payment tab.  An on-site registration fee of $20 will be charged for teams  who chose to wait and register at the tournament.  Please download and review the 2016  tournament rules prior to registration.  Check-in and On-Site Registration will begin Friday afternoon at 4:00PM for each event.  Drivers’ Meetings for Qualifiers will be held tournament mornings approximately 30 minutes  before sunrise.  The Championship Drivers’ meeting will be held the Friday evening before  the Championship (time TBA).  All boaters participating in Washington based tournaments must sign the Aquatic Invasive  Species Decontamination Statement at the tournament registration desk.  If the boat, trailer,  engine, or any water containers that you will use during this tournament have been in  physical contact with any waters outside of Washington State in the last 30 days you must  also fill out an Aquatic Invasive Species Decontamination Report.   Northwest Bass is again participating in the Bassmaster Team Championship which provides a  chance to move on to the Bassmaster Classic!  To qualify for the Bassmaster Team Championship  you must be registered for the Bassmaster Team Championship Trail.  Based on team points, the  top fifteen teams from the NWB Team Circuit will be invited to participate in the Northwest Bass  Bassmaster Team Fish-Off (to be held within the Championship tournament).  An entry fee of $100  per team will be charged; $20 dollars of the fee goes to the Bassmaster Team Championship organization and the balance of the purse ($80 per team) will go the the winning team to pay the entry fee to  the Bassmaster event and to help with travel expenses.  Both team members must be 16 years old by the time the tournament is held (Place and date have not yet been announced).  2016 Costs  Annual Angler Registration:  $75 per angler, if one team member is under age 12, the annual registration fee for that team member is $40.  Qualifier Tournament Entry: $250 per team per event Big Fish Option Pot: $50 per team per event Big Stringer Option Pot: $20 per team per event  Angler of the Year Option Pot:  $50 per team  Bassmaster Team Championship Registration:  $100 per team  Additional On-site Registration Fee: $20 per team (only if not pre-registered)  Nixon’s Marine Moses Lake Invitational In addition to the events on the above schedule, Nixon’s Marine together with Northwest Bass, hosts an annual invitational tournament on Moses Lake as a way of showing our appreciation to Nixon’s Marine customers.  This is a 100% payout tournament in which the top  10 teams from Day One go on to fish against each other on Day Two.  First prize is $10,000 (based on a 50 boat field) and all ten teams  receive prize money.  Entry fee is $400 dollars with an additional big fish option.  This tournament is not one of the qualifiers for the  Northwest Bass Team Championship tournament. Customer loyalty over the years has allowed Nixon’s Marine the opportunity to help build the sport of bass fishing in the Pacific  Northwest by hosting tournaments like this one.
